Jason & Nathan — partners in parenting, advocacy, and surviving glitter explosions.
By day, we work at a national social justice and advocacy organization fighting to ensure every child has access to a high-quality, free public education. By night, we’re just two dads trying to figure out how Lizzy got peanut butter in her hair again.
Jason is our resident golf guru — a high school golf coach who believes in the power of a good swing and a better snack. He’s the calm in our storm, the spreadsheet master, and the guy who thinks “just one more round” is a valid excuse for being late to dinner.
Nathan is an emerging photographer with a camera roll that’s 90% Lizzy, 5% sunsets, and 5% Jason trying to parallel park. He sees the world through a lens of beauty and chaos — mostly chaos when Lizzy’s involved — and brings the creative spark to our family adventures.
Together, we’re raising Lizzy with love, laughter, and a healthy dose of sarcasm. Our podcast is where we share the highs, lows, and hilarious in-betweens of parenting in a world that’s still catching up to families like ours.
We love hearing from YOU — especially friends who have better ideas than we do (which is most of you). Got a topic you want us to tackle? A parenting dilemma? A hilarious story? Or just want to say hi?

We might just ask you to join the show…unless it involves glitter. Then we’ll probably cry first..
